Why this matters
When somebody asks an assistant to recommend a business like yours, it may try to read your website first. If your site turns it away, it may not be able to use your own pages to answer, and nothing on your screen tells you, because the site still looks perfectly normal to you.
What almost nobody checks
This check includes OAI-AdsBot, the part of ChatGPT that reads your page before showing your advert. Almost nothing else tests it, and blocking it can stop your adverts from running, even though your website looks fine to you.
